Vecchio Hotel - Rethymno (Crete)

this fabulous hotel has simply decorated rooms and service-minded staff. absolutely perfect setting, it's near the ocean, the historical centre, and main tourist attractions. it's worth staying here and exploring old town rethymno district.

Had a room with balconies, which was a nice touch. Being smack dab in the middle of the city was super convenient 🌟.

It was really nice stay, I didn't want to leave and would return here. Came here for 5 days, the hotel was excellent value and fabulous, it had handy location near to fabulous bars and restaurants Cafe Galero, the fountain and restaurants and cafes and a quiet area of town.

The location was magnificent for us - close to restaurants and bars. Loved climate control, an individual safe, and a refrigerator in the room🙂

Location: the hotel was close enough to the centre of the city, and the old harbour with spectacular view...

Great location near the port for easy city access. the rooms have a nice mix of modern and vintage vibes. the bathrooms are well-equipped with a shower, hairdryer, and fluffy bath towels. 🛁.

This place is conveniently situated near the center with great bars and a delicious street food restaurant, Creperie Haris, just a short walk away.

The room we stayed in was clean, had a nice bathroom, a balcony, and great air conditioning.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in the heart of the old town. the recently renovated property had spacious rooms and a beautiful courtyard with a pool. the location couldn't be better - right in the city center, yet tucked away on a quiet street. the staff, including the very friendly owner, were incredibly helpful and made us feel welcome. Free wifi in the room was a bonus, and our room was cleaned on the second day. the breakfast spread was delicious and plentiful. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the courtyard, listening to the soothing sound of the trickling water. Cons: It was all superb! 👌.

This place comes highly recommended to everyone due to its fantastic food and great location in the old town, making it a wonderful choice for a stay.

Beautiful historic building, modernized and well-maintained. Ideal location near shopping, harbor, and restaurants. Relaxing atmosphere. Nice swimming pool. Convenient proximity to bus station, beaches, and Fortezza. Good breakfast. Friendly and polite staff.

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

This hotel was a great find in the heart of a bustling city. It's centrally located, just minutes away from the main shopping area and the old harbour with its spectacular views and restaurants. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Despite being in the middle of all the small roads with restaurants, the hotel was surprisingly quiet and offered a peaceful retreat. The value for money was superb, with affordable prices and basic amenities that met our needs perfectly.

Everything was fine and there was nothing that stood out as needing improvement.

We loved the cleanliness and hotel facilities. The pool and courtyard area were beautiful and well maintained. Location in a small alley in a quiet area of town was perfect for relaxing. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
